I felt like making a new OC today. I haven’t done that in years. Most of the characters I draw are just random, created to serve a single purpose – to complete my art, blend in, compliment it. I wanted to finally make a character with a story. Someone I can build a world around.
My Pinterest feed was full of cool references today, and I just had to make a moodboard. I’ve been feeling the urge to rewatch Twilight for weeks now, so naturally this OC had to end up Twilight coded.
Meet Fey.
She always felt a little off… Not in a bad way, just different. Quiet, intense, drawn to the wild. She enjoyed being alone, taking walks in the woods at dusk, until the sounds of the town disappeared.
One rainy afternoon she was browsing old archives at her local library. She found a really old article about strange sightings in the woods, unexplained disappearances… werewolves? Something in her clicked that day. She remembered the stories she heard from her grandma when she was a child. She began digging deeper into her own family’s lore, something didn’t make sense, there were too many coincidences… And then she found it. A mention of her mother’s maiden name in the archive. A local legend, and old gossip…
Her ancestors were hiding a legacy. Her family buried the truth generations ago, choosing to live quietly as humans. They never told her. Everything changed for Fey when she found out. She became obsessed. She started having strange dreams, she felt the calling of the woods, even her senses sharpened over time. She wasn’t afraid of what she was becoming. She doesn’t want to blend in anymore. She wants to find her own truth, even if her family is not happy about it.
